After a long absence from the crafting community, I'm delighted to be back with handmade vintage birdhouses for decoration and for birds to call home.

Bijou Heaven Studio

Specialty - Artisan crafted jewellery designs

Bijou Heaven Studio

Artist: Bonnie Stevenson
As a silversmith I work in small artisanal and production batches from sterling grain.
I smelt, form, fabricate; bezel set, wirewrap, string and generally play with jewellery and the making of wearable art. I graduated from l'Ecole de Joaillerie de Montreal in 2008 and came to live in Sarnia, Ontario that same year. I intuitively play with crystals and often interpret their vibrations. As a creative I play with resin to make Orgon Generators, which is basically an EMF buster. Finally learning about rocks and crystals intrigues me and learning to play with jewellery in different forms and mediums also intrigues me.

Button Jar Designz

Specialty - Button and Decoupaged Jewellery

Button Jar Designz

Artist: Susan Hull
After retiring, I wanted to explore my 'creative' side. It began with a bag of brightly coloured buttons on sale at the fabric store. I sewed them onto elastic to create button bracelets. From those bracelets, I moved into using decoupage to embellish the buttons and started making necklaces and earrings as well.
I find the paper I use for the decoupage everywhere....from scrapbook paper to handmade paper. If it's vibrant and colourful... I love it!
My pieces have sold online across Canada, the US, and Europe.

Caribbean Treasures

Specialty - Seaglass art

Caribbean Treasures

Artist: Sheri Wright
I've always been a beach loving girl. I could spend hours just walking the shores staring out at the waves and day dreaming. My passion for the ocean grew when my daughter went to medical school on a little island in the Caribbean. I visited her there every chance I could.
I started picking up sea glass on my walks on the sand. After 10 plus years and pounds of glass my husband suggested I start doing something with all the glass or stop picking it up. That's how Caribbean Treasures was born. I wanted to continue walking and picking up these 'jewels'
The glass 'speaks' to me. I don't alter the pieces at all. I look at each piece individually and it tells me what it should be. Each art piece I make is as unique as the person who purchases it.

Brenda is a stained glass artist residing in Wallaceburg. All her life she has had a fascination with glass, however it took a Groupon coupon for a beginner class to show her just how much.

Brenda says that she have been so fortunate to have worked with amazing customers and to bring their ideas to fruition. "My art is in homes across Ontario as well as California, England and Ireland. Dress Up Your Pup

Specialty - Dog bandanas and accessories

Dress Up Your Pup

Artist: Stacey Rabideau
I've always loved being creative through crafting. In 2018, I pulled out my grandma's old sewing machine and started to create with sewing and fabrics. I enjoyed it so much, that when my daughter got a puppy and asked if I could make him a tuxedo bandana for a wedding, I decided to turn my hobby into a small business. Champ turned out to be the best-dressed pup at the wedding!
I launched Dress Up Your Pup in July of 2019 and have been enjoying creating dog bandanas ever since. The business has been continually growing and branching out into other accessories.
I love to select fun patterns, add funny graphics, and personalize them with your pup's name. Dress Up Your Pup has expanded the sports line so your pup can show their support for your favourite team. Name your favourite team in the NHL, NFL, and MLB, I will have it. Every bandana is reversible, made with quality fabric and great care. Bandanas can be simply thrown in the washer and dryer so your dog can wear them over and over again, even after playing in the mud.

Green Dragonfly Pottery and Glass

Specialty - Pottery and glass

Green Dragonfly Pottery and Glass

Artist: Tammy Ward
I started my journey in pottery in 1999 taking pottery classes at Lambton College. Working in clay seemed to resonate with my love of nature, and I opened my studio, Green Dragonfly Pottery in a spare outbuilding on our farm.
Dragonflies and nature have always figured heavily in my work. From my studio overlooking woods, ponds and farm fields, there was no shortage of inspiration. I make functional pottery for the home, and whimsical pottery for the garden. From mugs and bowls, to birdfeeders and birdhouses, dragonflies, bees and bright colours bring it all together.

Handmade Leather

Specialty - Leather

Handmade Leather

Artist: Garry Thornton
In 1958 I was introduced to leather work in public school. My Manual Training class made small leather car-key cases. I gave mine to my older sister. She showed it off to coworkers, and I soon had orders for a dozen copies. The idea that money could be made from a hobby was a revelation to my preteen self.
Soon, I wanted to expand my knowledge and began searching the library for books on leather work. In those days I had never seen the tools I saw in books. These things were associated with western horsemen and hard to locate in eastern Canada. However, my parents stepped in and through family friends I was introduced to a disabled veteran who had learned leather craft as part of his therapy. He gave me a few lessons and a list of basic tools.
At home leather work was not a hard sell. Other crafts required specialized equipment or work spaces. There was nothing dangerous, messy or smelly and no long drying times when siblings would be restricted from our common spaces.
My leather tools fit in a fishing tackle box and the bags, wallets and belts that I made were practical not just decorative.
Over 65 years later I am still at it, turning out hand made items one at a time.

Jean Grady Art

Specialty - Acrylic Paintings

Artist: Jean Grady
Jean Grady is a London based artist who captures the rugged allure of the big open skies, lakes, and trees of the Ontario landscape with a distinctive impressionistic style. She is mesmerized by the intricate patterns of light and shadow in the woods and the sky?s reflections on the surface of the water. Jean paints from personal connections and experiences, often framing her paintings from her perspective in a kayak, giving the viewer a chance to feel like they, too, are on the water. She prefers acrylics for the freedom to maintain a fresh style with vivid colours and a broad value range, enabling her to create art that is joyful, full of bold harmonies and detailed with a whimsical touch of magic. Her goal is to touch on subjects and experiences that bring forth a memory or a feeling, connecting the viewer with the image. Jean?s work is held in private collections across North America. She hopes her paintings give people a feeling of joy and peace.

Jeannie M. Arts and Crafts

Specialty - Abstract Acrylic Painting

Artist: Jean Mantha
I am a retired educator and life-long resident of Lambton County. My husband and I lived in Bright's Grove for 34 years before moving to Errol Village in 2021. Following my retirement in 2013 I decided to put my creative energy into painting, crocheting and crafting. I am self-taught and began with acrylic paints and acrylic paint pouring. In the Spring of 2020 I decided I wanted to learn watercolour and being shut in during the pandemic afforded me the time to pursue this medium as well. I started by making cards with watercolour and ink and moved on to larger paintings. I like to incorporate texture and multi-media and experimenting with new techniques when working with acrylic paints. While I have some very large pieces in my home, I have not showcased these or sold them at craft shows. My painting is slowing evolving into abstract acrylics which is challenging as the process takes a long time to achieve the results I desire. Participating in vendor shows in Lambton County last year has helped my confidence in seeing me as an artist. Lambton County has many fantastic artisans and feel privileged to participate among them.

My Choice Natural

Specialty - Specialty Natural Soaps, Deodorants & more

Artist: Kelly Flaming
My Choice Natural started in 2009 by a man (Kelly Flaming) questioning the ingredients in the skin care products his family was using. The main ingredients in all of the skin care products in the home were made with lathering agents, chemicals, toxins and unfamiliar ingredients.
This enlightenment is what sparked Kelly to see if he could make soap containing only 100% natural ingredients. 100% natural ingredients sets My Choice Natural apart from others; using only food grade oils and butters for the base of his soaps, steam distilled or expeller pressed essential oils for the aroma and natural colorants.
Driven by his passion, My Choice Natural has grown making a full array of products including natural soaps, deodorants, bug repellents, room deodorizers, facial serum, aromatic & health essential oil blends and more.

Original Blend Pottery

Specialty - Pottery

Original Blend Pottery

Artist: Anne Benedict
From an early age I enjoyed drawing, painting and making things. At the end of Grade 8, I was one of three students selected to take a summer art course at the old Willistead Art Gallery in Windsor. I decide to take the pottery classes with Alice Holmes who was a prominent Windsor potter.

After high school, I attended the "Three Schools of Art" in Toronto for one year. Then, I was accepted into second and the third year at Georgian College in Barrie with ceramic teachers Roger Kerslake and Ann Mortimer. After college, I was based near Newmarket and sold my pottery at the studio and at shows around Ontario.

At the present time, I work full-time in my studio in Windsor and all my glazes are my own formulations. I use two wheels, one for throwing pots and one for trimming. I have five kilns and retail space in my home. What a great life!

Pine Needle Primatives

Specialty - Vintage Collectables with Mice

Pine Needle Primatives

Artist: Peggy Mulvihill
I began creating 37 years ago, as a young mom who wanted to work from home. Through the years there have been many changes to what I've created. In recent years I have combined my love of antiques and anything vintage and rusty with my whimsical handmade mice. Bringing new life to items long forgotten is a true joy, along with the smiles my creations bring. Although I do create other items, these have by far been my most popular. I've been very blessed that my small home based business has afforded me to be able to fulfill my two passions, antique hunting and creating.

Pottery Impressions

Specialty - Pottery Impressions

Pottery Impressions

Artist: Elaine Craddock
I am a self-taught clay artist who incorporates various textures and shapes into my hand made Pottery. My specialty is organic hand-built pieces and leaf impressions that are artistic as well as functional. I am always looking at objects and wondering what kind of imprint the item will leave in clay.

While creating interesting bowls on the wheel, I love to incorporate the latest colour trends when working with glazes. Working out of a home studio, I create my pottery designs on a full-time basis.

I love to transform a lump of clay into a bowl, a dish or a one of a kind sculpture. Glazed and fired in my kiln, the surfaces are as vastly different as the variety of glazes I work with. I strive to create aesthetically pleasing works in stoneware clay at a reasonable price for everyone to enjoy. All of my functional pottery is lead free, microwave, and dishwasher safe.

Clay allows me the freedom to 'colour outside of the lines' and express myself in a creative outlet. I also love to use organic objects such as leaves and doilies in the creation of my art.

One of my greatest appreciations is when someone looks at my work at a craft show and comments that they have not seen anything like it.

R W Studios

Specialty - Chain maille jewellery

R W Studios

Artist: Greg DeHetre
Greg DeHetre got his start as a jewelry artist in 2010, while making a birthday present for his then three year old daughter. The introduction to the ancient art of chainmaille was a new awakening for Greg. Greg found the intricacies of the different weaves mesmerizing, and actual weaving meditative. Not wanting to use store bought findings in his chainmaille pieces Greg started learning, and using silversmithing techniques in his designs. As the popularity of his designs became evident, Greg made a conscious decision to work in fine metals, and strive to create only the best quality products.
Chainmaille eventually led Greg to learn various other metalworking and jewelry techniques, to achieve his main goal of making quality, handmade jewelry. A short seven years later, Greg has seen a steady rise in the demand for his unique, quality, handcrafted designs, and now pursues his dreams full time. Greg DeHetre now runs R.W. Studios, a successful state of the art studio, where he works, teaches classes, and holds workshops in various jewelry and metalworking techniques. Greg's passion for his art is evident in every piece of jewelry he creates as Ring Weavers, which accounts for the great demand by his loyal clients, and new customers alike.

Rachel VanRooyen

Specialty - Handcrafted jewellery

Rachel VanRooyen
Rachel Joy VanRooyen was born and raised in Bruce County, Southern Ontario, Canada. She has been designing and creating her own line of jewellery since the mid 1990's. Rachel dyes and paints wooden, paper, clay, and metal beads and accents them with her own hand-made lamp-work glass beads as well as beads made out of crystal, semi-precious stones, shells and other natural materials. For her wire work, Rachel uses sterling sliver, silver plated, copper and brass wire. Rachel twists and hammers her wire to provide sturdy and attractive connectors and accents for her designs. Rachel believes that jewellery should be both practical as well as pretty and, as a result, she does her best to ensure that her pieces are light-weight and durable. Rachel uses sterling silver ear wires and nickel-free gold ear wires for her earrings and also offers a wide variety of clip-on earrings.

Rachel finds her inspiration in nature. "I'm inspired by the weather, good food, and our beautiful and varied Canadian landscape. I love what I do. Even after all this time, I still go into my workshop with a sense of anticipation and pleasure."

RCV Designs

Specialty - Unique Charcuterie and Serving Boards

RCV Designs

Artist: Bob and Cynthia Vance
RCVDesigns is a passion project of Robert (Bob) and Cynthia, a husband and wife team (RCV), dedicated to creating unique woodworking products that make wonderful gifts. Upon Bob's retirement from the Canadian Air Force in 2011, he inherited all his woodworking tools from his father. Unfortunately, he didn't inherit the passion for woodworking. Then in 2014, Bob came upon a woodworking store that sold bright, colourful exotic woods that he had never seen before. This store sparked his passion for woodworking and a new hobby, so Bob decided to turn one side of the garage into a small woodworking shop. The learning curve was pretty steep, learning how to use and maintain the tools while also using the trial and error method to create some household items like a ladder shelf and a dartboard cabinet. Over the past 7 years, Cynthia and Bob have created unique and useful one of a kind wood craft items like charcuterie boards, serving boards, trivets, BBQ scrapers, etc. by combining bright, exotic coloured woods and domestic hard woods. Together, they enjoy designing and making handcrafted items that you can't buy in big box stores. Their customers appreciate the uniqueness, quality and heart that they put into each item that they make.

Rural Route One

Specialty - Paintings

Artist: Lisa Waller
I was born, raised and continue to reside at a local RR#1 mailing address (hence the business name). This is where my love of the outdoors, nature and wildlife comes from and influences most of my art. I enjoy being surrounded by the local plants, wildlife and sounds, these natural elements inspire me. Everyone needs a breath of fresh air and a little serenity in their lives.

Most of my paintings depict life on the farm and wildlife. This includes birds, butterflies, plants, farm animals, farm life, and a few sporting themes that I enjoy such as baseball, fishing and hunting.

I enjoy painting on natural materials, these include slate, metal and glass. My primary media is acrylic with a realistic style. I also like to dabble in pen and ink in a pointillism style and watercolour in a more fluid form. Painting on reclaimed materials such as slate (natural from the ground or roof shingles), glass (old windows, vases, jugs), wood (barn wood and rolling pins) also energizes me, I like the idea of re-purposing items that may not have a use or may be overlooked and bring them back to life in a unique way. I?m always trying to figure out how and what I can paint on items. I am constantly expanding my line of artwork, learning and trying new techniques. I never want to stop playing with new medias and materials, my mind is always creating and my style is always evolving. I encourage commissioned work, this challenges me and my creativity.
